Heidi Brock

Heidi is a native of Lake Charles and grew up in a large family and always had a love for music. Singing was something that just came naturally to her, and she said if there was a tune running through her head, it was most likely coming out of her mouth as well. Starting at age six, she began violin lessons, and was also involved in Les Petite Voix for a short period of time. Later in high school she learned the piano. She was always involved in church choirs, but eventually settled in the Latin mass Schola where she learned various styles of sacred music and chant. Heidi Graduated in 2017 with her bachelors degree in Animal Science, and though she was an Ag major, she always found time to sing in the university choirs. She never received any professional training for singing, but she learned so much from all of the different choir directors and singers that she worked under. She is married to her husband, Josh Brock, whom she says has been so amazing and supportive of her sharing her voice with others, and they have three beautiful red headed girls. She enjoys completing house projects, catching up with friends, a good game of volleyball or ultimate frisbee, and as of late, making homemade elderberry syrup from wild elderberries.
